Subsoiler with cylinders
This series of Baabor inline subsoilers features retractable shanks in case of excess effort.
The shank is preloaded with a maximum penetration force using a hydraulic trigger cylinder connected to a hydraulic accumulator.
In the event of an overload, the cylinder compresses, sending the oil inside it to the accumulator, allowing the shank to pivot and rise, thereby overcoming the obstacle. Once the obstacle is passed, the accumulator, which maintains pressure in the cylinder, pushes the shank back to its working position.
This trigger force can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the internal pressure of the hydraulic accumulator. This process is done from the tractor cabin.
